The Oilers should play more matinee games because we are unbeaten in contests that start betweeen 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, and we were 4-0 last year in matinees. Ethan Moreau's two goals in Carolina was just the start of things for this team: Ales Hemsky and Sheldon Souray cemented their roles as key offensive contributors on this team and some key players turned the page on the early season funk. Those would include Tom Gilbert, Erik Cole, and Dustin Penner. Staios, Smid and Visnovsky look solid too and Strudwick was sound despite playing with an injury.
