It's going to be 2009 soon and...

... we're still waiting for our cup

... we're still wondering about what if

... we're still wondering about CFP

... we're still wondering what could have been

... the truth is... it's not so bad. All the pieces are here on this team. We might not always agree with the team management, but at least the Oiler spirit still lives on.

And that's all that matters.

Whether its by trade, UFA, draft, or retention, we will make good on that lost spring in 2006.

And 2009 is not out of the possibilities - just yet.

This is a pre-emptive Happy New Years.
